About Esteban Mejía Rico

Esteban Mejía Rico is a bilingual lawyer with a postgraduate degree in liability and insurance law from Universidad EAFIT and a Master's degree in law from the same university. Mr Mejía has over 12 years of experience, having worked as an in-house counsel at insurance and reinsurance companies such as Seguros Suramericana and Chubb. He worked as deputy claim manager at reinsurance broker JLT Re Colombia. He is also a lecturer on private and liability law at Universidad EAFIT and teaches several postgraduate insurance law courses at universities such as Universidad EAFIT, Pontificia Bolivariana and UNAULA. He is a member of the Colombian Liability Law Institute (IARCE).
