About Edesio Carrasco

Edesio Carrasco is the partner in charge of Schultz Carrasco Benítez's public and natural resources group. He obtained an LLM in environmental law from the University of California, Berkeley, and his practice focuses mainly on environment and sectorial permits, energy, land-use planning and the development of industrial projects. Edesio also advises clients with regard to various controversies and their defence before ordinary and special courts in administrative matters. He is also a lecturer at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Universidad del Desarrollo Law Schools, and has written more than 40 academic papers and three books on matters pertaining to his areas of specialisation.
