About Deniz Tuncel

Deniz Tuncel is a partner in Hergüner's M&A and energy practice groups, and advises on joint ventures and acquisitions in the energy sector, renewables, and oil and gas. He also has unique experience of working with intergovernmental agreements and host government agreements used in cross-border energy and infrastructure projects, having advised on the permitting and international law aspects of strategic regional pipelines. He graduated from Istanbul University and received LLM degrees from İstanbul Bilgi University and Harvard Law School. Deniz is on the board of directors of the AVERE Turkey Electro Mobility Association, a recent initiative advocating energy efficiency in transportation, and is on the editorial board of the Turkish Commercial Law Review.
