About Gláucia Coelho

Gláucia Coelho is a partner at Machado Meyer, Sendacz e Opice and heads its litigation and dispute resolution department. With an LLB and a PhD in procedural law from the University of São Paulo, she has extensive experience in very diverse types of legal disputes in civil and commercial law (including before the Brazilian appellate courts), namely, those arising from financial transactions, as well as contractual and liability issues. Gláucia is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the Brazilian Institute of Procedural Law (IBDP), and the Center for Advanced Studies in Civil Procedure (CEAPRO), where she has been a member of the board since 2014.
