About Benjamin Schumacher

Benjamin Schumacher is the co-head of the insurance law practice at Nater Dallafior. He represents clients in commercial and corporate disputes before state courts, arbitral tribunals and administrative bodies. He specialises in all aspects of insurance and reinsurance disputes, and has particular experience in cases concerning business and professional liability insurance, business interruption insurance, D&O insurance and property insurance. Another focus is on banking litigation, as well as insolvency, enforcement and asset recovery/protection matters. Benjamin has been admitted to the bar Switzerland and holds Master's degrees from the University of Zurich and Oxford. He has been a lecturer at the University of Zurich in civil procedure and enforcement law and holds another teaching assignment for insurance law.
