Alexis Valençon
is a partner at Kennedys and co-founder of its Paris office. He has extensive expertise in complex litigation and arbitration, notably in (re)insurance, construction, product liability, industrial risk, financial lines, fraud and cyber-risk, as well as in court-appointed investigations. Alexis teaches civil procedure and (re)insurance arbitration at the Paris Insurance Institute (Dauphine University) and at Le Mans and Montpellier universities. He is a regular contributor to a variety of industry publications, including the Lamy Assurances (a leading (re)insurance practitioners’ textbook). Alexis is a member of the International Insurance Law Association (AIDA), Association pour le Management des Risques et des Assurances de l’Entreprise (AMRAE), Association des Professionnels de la Réassurance (APREF) and the International Bar Association.
