About Aoi Inoue

Aoi Inoue is a partner and co-head of the international arbitration practice at Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, specialising in international arbitration and litigation. He has acted as counsel in a number of international arbitrations under various rules, including those of the ICC, Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association (JCAA) and UNCITRAL. He has been recognised as a leading arbitration lawyer by Chambers and Partners, Who’s Who Legal: Arbitration, The Legal 500: Asia Pacific, Best Lawyers and Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific. Aoi currently serves as an executive director of the Japan International Dispute Resolution Center (JIDRC) and a director of the Japan Association of Arbitrators (JAA). He received his LLB from the University of Tokyo and holds an LLM from Columbia Law School. He was admitted to the Bar in Japan in 2004 and in New York in 2011.
