About Andreas McConnell

Andreas McConnell is a partner with Philip Lee and co-leads the corporate practice of the firm. He has considerable experience in both transactional and advisory matters, specialising in corporate and commercial and mergers and acquisitions. Andreas has acted for a wide variety of clients, including charities, banks and Irish and multinational companies on a range of challenging and, often, highly sensitive issues. He leads Philip Lee’s Foreign Direct Investment practice and assists foreign companies often backed by IDA Ireland to expand their businesses into Europe through Ireland. He has extensive knowledge of the commercial challenges generated by Brexit and written and spoken on the subject. Andreas has acted on a very broad spectrum of transactions, including venture capital investments, foreign direct investment, project finance deals, tax-based investment schemes, joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, management buyouts, restructurings, IPOs and RTOs.
